Region Five

Our Services

How we help.

A broad array of comprehensive, evidence-based, public behavioral health and developmental services is available locally and regionally through the Region 5 collaborative. Services are specifically designed to meet the needs of citizens of the Greater Tidewater Hampton Roads Area of Southeastern and Coastal Virginia. We are easily accessible and prepared to help.

How We Help

In partnership with Virginia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, we work closely with military families, local public and private school districts, law enforcement and the courts, state and local hospitals and emergency service departments, private service providers, and local health and social services departments to support a continuum of behavioral healthcare throughout Virginia.

Our services are personalized to meet your needs and the needs of your family and loved ones. We promote recovery, self-determination, and whole-person, person-centered planning, and work to protect, and advocate for your best mental health. We take pride in educating our communities to promote understanding and compassion, eliminate stigma, and becoming empowered as central points of access to health and wellness-related resources.
