Adult Mental Health First Aid

Think of AMHFA as you would CPR, it’s about being the first on the scene and offering help to someone experiencing a mental health crisis.

Adult Mental Health First Aid (AMHFA) is an 8-hour course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it does build mental health literacy, helping the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.

There will be an hour for you to go get your lunch or you can bring your own lunch. Food will NOT be provided. However, we will supply water and coffee.
