Implementing Interpersonal Psychotherapy: Skills for Effective Clinical Practice
This interactive CE course will immerse mental health clinicians in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)—an evidence-based approach proven effective for treating Depressive Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Social Phobia, and certain Eating Disorders.
Participants won’t just learn the research and theory behind IPT—they’ll actively engage in small group exercises and hands-on practice designed to bring the model to life. Together, we’ll explore the interventions used in the initial, middle, conclusion, and maintenance phases of IPT, with opportunities to try them out in real time.
By the end of the course, clinicians will leave not only with a deeper understanding of IPT, but also with practical skills and interventions they can immediately implement in their clinical practice.
