Pathways to Healing: Interactive Play in Therapy

Please join us for an in person, interactive training that explores utilizing play in therapy.

This training will explore the difference between play in therapy and play therapy. You will learn the importance of implementing play for children to express and explore their emotions, feelings, and behaviors. Interventions will be provided and practiced throughout this hands on training.

Christina Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in the mental health field since 2008, working with children and adults. Christina also has experience working with individuals who have an intellectual disability and who are on the Autism Spectrum.

A graduate of Capella University, Christina earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, as well as a certificate in Mental Health Counseling. She is currently attending the University of Mississippi and enrolled in their Masters Educational Specialist in Counselor Education with emphasis on Play Therapy program.
