Often when a child is diagnosed with Autism, there are enough hurdles to jump that preparing for adulthood is another challenge that often can be neglected. The focus of this training is to help parents, caregivers and professionals look at ways of preparing their Autistic children for successful adult lives.

Presenter: Karen E. Bailey, MA, LPC, ACS, ASDSC
Karen Bailey is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. For the past 18 years of her 25 years in counseling, Karen has been providing therapy to clients that identify as on the Spectrum, helping families and individuals understand autism and training others to interpret individuals with Autism behaviors and communication through the eyes of Neurodiversity. Karen Bailey currently works as the Manager of Autism Treatment Services at Western Tidewater Community Services Board.
