Chesapeake Cares Crisis Center at Heron’s Cove

Chesapeake Cares is a recovery and stabilization center designed to provide rapid, individualized support in a calm and therapeutic environment. The center operates 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. Individuals are welcomed as guests and supported with assessment, stabilization services, and care coordination.

  • Crisis assessment and safety planning
  • Psychiatric evaluations, nursing assessments, and treatment planning
  • Medication administration
  • Individual and family therapy

  • Therapeutic leisure activities to promote stabilization

Criteria for admission:

  • 18 years or older
  • Voluntary
  • Requires urgent intervention
  • Experiencing an active behavioral health crisis
