What Does the Recovery Advisory Council Do?

  • The RAC serves as a central access point for peer connections, information sharing, regional event planning, development and access 
  • The RAC promotes recovery-oriented services throughout Region 5 
  • The RAC serves as a voice for peers on issues surrounding recovery 
  • The RAC provides regional health care providers feedback from peers, serving as a voice for all persons affected by mental illness and/or substance use disorders
